EA CEO Frank Gibeau: Battlefield 4 for next gen nothing short of astonishing

After explaining the huge lay off EA has been experimenting which Frank Gibeau EA CEO calls "complex and challenging experience" he explains the transitions most if not all of their IPs will make into the next gen consoles.

In a blog post over at EA.com, Gibeau hailed the power of next generation gaming technology and discussed how the publisher would adapt to succeed on new platforms. "For EA's creative teams, this transition comes as no surprise," he began.
"We've been investing and innovating on new technology for months," he continued. "Console partners who have seen our early work agree, EA's next-gen software is nothing short of astonishing. At a GameStop company meeting earlier this week, we gave 500 store managers a sneak peak at Battlefield 4. The game received a huge ovation and thousands of fans reacted to a single enthusiastic Tweet by GameStop's CEO."
On 31st January, Gibeau revealed to investors that EA would share the first proper details of Battlefield 4 in "about 90 days". The game is apparently coming out "next year", with the next Xbox rumoured to show up before this Christmas.

Crysis 3 Multiplayer Introduction trailer, new game mode and PC version to support 16 players per round

Crytek has just released their new video of crysis 3 multiplayer showing us the new  multiplayer mode "Hunter" and the already classic mode "Crash site" in addition to this info the Producer Mike Read let us know the maximum players supported for consoles and PC : consoles 6 versus 6 = 12 players total , PC ; 8 vs 8 = 16 players total.

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition officially announced new engine based on BF3 Frostbite 2

Dragon Age 3 has been officially announced in an open letter on the Dragon Age website, spotted byEurogamer. It’s been quite obvious that Dragon Age 3 has been in the works for the past year or so, because Bioware themselves have been talking about it for ages. According to executive producer Mark Darrah Dragon Age 3 has been in development for two years “with the bulk of our efforts ramping up about 18 months ago.”

It’s being built by the team behind Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2, and will feature a “more expansive world, better visuals, more reactivity to player choices and more customisation.” It’ll be powered by a new engine based on Frostbite 2 technology.

EA Labels boss : " Xbox 720, PS4 Will be out next year, I’ve seen both of them "

EA labels president Frank Gibeau has told to Bloomberg TV that the next Xbox and PlayStation would launch in about a year’s time.

“We’re into the sixth or seventh year now of this generation of hardware and so it’s a mature market,” said Gibaeu.

“The new hardware is going to be coming out in about a year’s time, so we’re right around this period in time when the market’s going to slow down and then you have a new game changer coming with all new technology, all new hardware, and another growth period.”
