Xbox one can also be use as a Development kit !

Xbox one will also serve as a Development kit

Yes you read it right, even though it hasn't officially been announced in the last Larry Hryb ( Larry Hryb) podcast his co-host Eric Neustadter (e) basicly confirm that the feature will be announced soon

Microsoft also released a statement a few days ago regarding their vision about the Xbox one
Our vision is that every person can be a creator. That every Xbox One can be used for development. That every game and experience can take advantage of all of the features of Xbox One and Xbox LIVE. This means self-publishing. This means Kinect, the cloud, achievements. This means great discoverability on Xbox LIVE. We'll have more details on the program and the timeline at gamescom in August.
Personally i think this is great for indie developers and normal gamers who would like to learn and create their own games, something that was very restrictive in the consoles world, what else does microsoft has below its sleeve ? we'll have to wait and see

Sony PlayStation 3 Master Key Cracked ! pirates will be able to play pirated games

A group of hackers by the name of  “The Three Musketeers”, had released an equivalent of the ps3 “master key”  for sony game console. This keys allow decrypting PS3’s level 0 (lv0) security layer used by the primary boot loader and therefore create custom firmware completely compatible with the console itself, but which allows running pirated games.
Sony uses the lv0 keys to safeguard the firmware of the PlayStation 3. After update 3.60 the lv0 keys were also used to authenticate the software. With the release of the lv0 keys to the web, hackers are able to change existing and future PlayStation 3 firmwares. Since the lv0 key is put into the Cell CPU during manufacturing it is unlikely that Sony will be able to restore the protection of the PlayStation 3 with a new update and with the PS3 firmware decrypted also the new PSN authentication key is easy to grab, reports The Hacker News web-site.
