Fancy taking part in one of the “most immersive, atmospheric
challenges in gaming?” If so, then the exclusive Ranger mode that comes with
the Limited Edition of Metro: Last Light should be right up your alley.
The Limited Edition is available to pre-order now and
features a copy of the game, Ranger mode difficulty, bonus ammo currency, and
an extra weapon. The full contents in detail can be found below:
Ranger Mode – Experience complete immersion. No HUD, less
bullets and brutal combat. Hardcore, the way it was meant to be played.
Extra Military Grade Bullets – Coveted for their ability to
kill, these bullets are also the currency of the Metro. Will you use them in
battle or purchase precious resources? The choice is yours.
Modified Russian Rifle – A compact but deadly Russian
assault rifle, perfect for claustrophobic combat.
“‘Ranger Mode’ provides the definitive Metro experience,”
said Huw Beynon, creative strategist at THQ. “It’s deservedly regarded as one
of the most immersive, atmospheric challenges in gaming and we think fans will
be very happy to see its return in the Metro: Last Light Limited Edition.”
North American players who pre-order the Limited Edition via
the PlayStation Network will also receive a free copy of Homefront at launch.
